It doesnt work. I have a P900, and I had to buy a software called "X ray". Would not work in the Mac version. So I gave up on the Mac version.

Hello, I have X-RAY and a iScan in Vista. I am trying to scan in SilverFast Ai Studio 8, and I am running into trouble. It gets to the "Automatically adjusting brightness and contrast..." stage, but then the software says "The image has been successfully scanned, but there is still some noise. Would you like to continue?". I click "No" to cancel the scan, and then it goes back to the previous screen.

If you have any experience with this, I would greatly appreciate it. I am running Win 8.1 on the PC.

I can also see that there is an issue with the Mac version. The scan that the Mac software is performing will just lock up. In the middle of the process, and nothing can be done until the software is restarted.

For now, I will just stick to X-RAY and iScan. I have been working with the Mac for a year now, and the experience has just gotten worse, and worse.
